Who We Are
Dr. Paul Spagnuolo is a renowned expert in nutraceuticals. Working at the Food Science Department at the University of Guelph, Dr. Spagnuolo has discovered a number of novel nutraceuticals and has done extensive research into their active compounds and effect on various diseases. Dr. Spagnuolo was published in Cancer Research for his discovery of a lipid derived from an avocado which targets and kills leukemia stem cells.
Dr. Spagnuolo continues to use the same methods of screening and validation and has discovered other active compounds which treat diseases many people currently suffer from.
After years of researching different food and plant molecules, understanding active compounds and how various diseases were targeted, Dr. Spagnuolo felt that there was a need in the natural health product market for scientifically proven molecules and set out to create a company that would commercialize these discoveries into viable products that could improve the lives and health of people struggling with disease.
